The General Medicine department has three senior consultants and 8 DNB Residents. The department provides wide range of services in General Medicine to diagnose and treat multiple adult medical problems like Acute Febrile Illnesses such as Malaria, Dengue, Chickengunia, Laptospira, Typhoid, Septicemia, Diabetes, Hypertension, Neurological Diseases, Snake Bites and poisoning etc.

The consultants are well trained with years of experience in General Medicine. It has well organised teaching programme in DNB General medicine since 2014.
